Recycling

If you have any mixed paper that you would like to recycle drop it in the recycling containers located in the township.

2019 Leaf Collection

 

The Daugherty Township Road Department will begin leaf collection on the following days in the following locations:

 

Collections start:          Monday, October 21, 2019

 

Collections end:            Friday, November 29, 2019

 

Mondays:           William Penn Way & Crescent Heights Plan, Rt. 65 (from Valley Avenue to Stuber Road), North Ave., Franklin Plan and McGuire Street.

 

Tuesdays:          Gulbranson Heights Plan, Daugherty Highlands Plan and Hillcrest Drive.

 

Wednesdays:    Mercer Heights Plan, Klein Plan, Stuber Road, McCreary Plan, Cardinal Drive, Robin Trail, and Rt. 65 (from Stuber Road to Wises Grove Road)

 

Thursdays:         Allendale Road, Wallace Drive, Harold Street, Inman Drive, Hogue Drive and John Street

 

   

Weather permitting!  Leaf piles that contain garbage, grass clippings, brush and/or tree branches WILL NOT be collected. If your residence is located on a state road other than Rt. 65 please call the office @ 724-846-5337 to schedule a pick up.

 

Per Capita Tax Collection

The New Brighton Area School District and Daugherty Township has elected to use Berkheimer to collect per capita tax. You will receive one bill from Berkheimer for both entities. If you have any questions please contact the office at 724-846-5337. 

Board of Supervisors adopts Code of the Township of Daugherty

At their Regular Meeting held on Wednesday January 12, 2011, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance 134, the Code of the Township of Daugherty. The new code is a volume of chapters based upon the original ordinances adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Daugherty. This legislation, has been revised and codified, renumbered as to sections and rearranged into chapters. The Board of Supervisors has made a searchable version of the Code available online through the use of General Code's eCode 360.
